Welcome to our web site!
The community school system is based on the idea that schools are a part of a community.  And that the community that supports local schools should be involved in the running schools.

This includes the local school board of parents and representatives of students, teachers and administration involved in all the responsibilities for that school.  Also, the school should be available to the community for recreation, reading, and learning.

Community schools are for people who are concerned about having responsible, practical and viable schools.  The whole purpose of having education is suppose to have been for children.  Yet, the current school system does not include children in deciding much of what happens with schools.  And, much of the time, because of the narrow thinking of schools, they are often not available to the community whom are suppose to have been responsible for the operation and use.  Community schools provide for everyone in the school to be involved in the public matters of how that school is.  And, the community may use the school as a resource.
